Description: Ten strong plastic trays with a solid bottom, designed for microgreen production. The shallow depth (4 cm) is suitable for growing a 2–3 cm layer of coir or soil-based medium. Because there are no drainage holes, you must water carefully to avoid pooling; a spray mister is recommended. The PP material is food-contact grade, but these trays are intended for growing purposes, not as serving dishes. The black colour reduces light reflection. To use, fill with moistened medium, sow seeds densely, and press lightly. After harvest, remove roots and medium, then wash with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid leaving standing water in the tray for longer than 12 hours to reduce mould risk. These trays are not compatible with bottom-watering systems. For germination, you may cover with a separate dome or cling film. This product does not include seeds or growing medium. Suitable for indoor or greenhouse use on flat, level shelves.
