Description: Ten mesh-bottom trays designed for soil blocking, microgreen production, or sprouting larger seeds. The 1.5 mm stainless steel mesh holds coir-based microgreen substrates and soil blocks without falling through, while allowing water to drain freely. The tray fits standard 1020 shelving systems. Because the mesh is not removable, these trays are intended for uses where the growing medium stays above the mesh. For microgreens, spread a 2–3 cm layer of moist medium, sow seeds evenly, and water from above. The open mesh reduces the risk of standing water, which is helpful for preventing mould. After harvest, remove all roots and growing medium, then rinse the tray with warm water and a stiff brush. Do not use abrasive chemicals or put the trays in a dishwasher on a high-heat cycle. These trays are not suitable for very fine seeds such as poppy or basil unless a paper liner is placed underneath. The product does not claim to be completely sterile; cleaning and hygiene routines remain the user’s responsibility. Not intended as a food serving vessel.
