  Description: This pack of forty deep-cell trays is designed to fit inside standard 1020 flats (sold separately). Each tray contains 4 large, deep cells, making them suitable for plants that develop long taproots, such as carrots, beans, or sunflowers, before transplanting. The 7 cm depth allows for a larger root volume compared to shallow starter trays. The PP material is semi-rigid and can be reused if cleaned gently. Because the trays are not supplied with a solid base, you must place them inside a leak-proof 1020 tray for bottom watering. The black colour reduces light penetration to the root zone. After use, wash with warm water and mild detergent, then air-dry. Avoid stacking heavy objects on empty trays, as this may cause warping. These trays are not intended for use with a humidity dome, though you may cover them with plastic film if higher moisture is needed during germination. Actual plant growth depends on seed quality, watering frequency, and temperature conditions.
