Description: This pack of five black growing trays serves as a sturdy foundation for seed starting, cutting propagation, or as a water collection base for smaller pots. The external dimensions follow the standard 1020 flat size, making them compatible with most heat mats and greenhouse shelving units. The HIPS material offers moderate rigidity; however, the trays should not be twisted or dropped on hard surfaces. Each tray includes multiple drainage holes to prevent oversaturation. If you prefer a tray without holes for bottom watering, the holes can be temporarily sealed with waterproof tape. Black pigmentation limits light exposure to the root zone, which reduces unwanted moss or algae formation. Clean with lukewarm water and a soft brush before first use. Do not place directly on a hotplate or expose to open flames. These trays do not include a humidity dome or cell inserts; they are intended as general-purpose plant trays.
