Description: Forty round peat pots made from natural peat and wood fibre. These pots are biodegradable; when placed into garden soil or a compost heap, they break down over several weeks. The pots can be planted directly into larger containers or outdoor beds, reducing root disturbance. Each pot has a slightly roughened surface that allows water and air to pass through the walls. However, because peat pots can wick moisture away from the compost, you may need to water more frequently than with plastic pots. The pack includes 40 white labels and a simple marker, allowing you to record sowing dates and variety names. Avoid leaving the pots permanently standing in water, as the fibre may soften and lose structure. These pots are not recommended for long-term propagation cycles exceeding 8 weeks, as root penetration through the wall may become restricted. Do not use them with extremely coarse potting mixes. This product does not contain fertiliser or growth enhancers; it is a plain biodegradable container.
