Description: Five flat seed starter trays in a green colour. These trays have a solid bottom without any drainage holes, making them suitable as water collection trays, mixing trays, or as bases for capillary matting. The green colour reduces glare but does not significantly affect light transmission to roots. The HIPS material is rigid and suitable for holding standard 1020 cell inserts or small pots. Because there are no holes, these trays can also be used for bottom watering – add water to a depth of 1–2 cm and place perforated pots or inserts inside. Do not leave standing water for more than 24 hours, as this may lead to algae growth. Clean with mild detergent and a soft sponge. These trays are not intended for direct sowing without an inner container, as there is no drainage. The product does not include a dome or lid. Weight capacity: up to 5 kg distributed evenly – exceeding this may cause bowing. For greenhouse or indoor use only; not UV-stabilised for long-term outdoor exposure.
