Description: Ten heavy-duty seed starter trays, each containing 32 deeper cells. The 5.5 cm cell depth supports plants with longer initial root systems, such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and certain flower varieties. The reinforced PP construction resists warping when filled with damp compost and carried from one location to another. Each cell has one bottom slit for drainage; the slit design reduces soil clogging compared to round holes. Because the tray does not include a dome, you may wish to use a separate humidity cover or plastic film. The black colour restricts light to the root zone. These trays are intended for repeated use in a home or small nursery environment. After harvesting, remove all root residues, wash with water and a mild dish soap, then dry upside down. Avoid stacking heavy objects on empty trays as this may cause deformation. The 32-cell format provides a balance between root space and propagation density. This product does not include a bottom tray; you may place it inside a solid nursery tray (sold separately) for bottom watering.
