Description: This set contains 20 sheets of interlinked biodegradable peat pots, providing 240 individual growing cells. The pots are made from peat and wood pulp without synthetic binders; they can be planted directly into garden soil or larger containers, reducing root disturbance. Each sheet holds 12 pots and is lightly compressed; handle with care to prevent breakage before wetting. The outer cardboard tray helps keep the sheets together during transport and initial watering. Also included are 30 bamboo or plastic labels and a small wooden dibber for making sowing holes. Because peat pots wick moisture, you may need to water more frequently than with plastic trays. Avoid letting the pots dry out completely, as this makes rewetting difficult. The pots degrade in soil over several weeks; degradation speed depends on soil microbial activity and moisture. This product does not contain fertiliser, growth hormones, or pest repellents. Use within one year of purchase for best structural integrity. Not recommended for crops that require more than 10 weeks before transplanting, as the pot walls may restrict root growth. Store in a dry place before use.
