Description: Ten mesh-bottom trays for soil blocking and microgreens. The galvanised steel mesh (1.5 mm aperture) provides a firm support for soil blocks while allowing water to drain freely. The tray size (15”x12”) is slightly smaller than 1020 flats. Use these trays to hold formed soil blocks – the mesh prevents blocks from sitting in water, which helps maintain block structure. For microgreens, line the mesh with a thin layer of coir or use a fine mesh liner (not included) for very small seeds. After use, remove all organic matter, then rinse with warm water and a brush. Galvanised mesh may show surface rust over time if frequently exposed to moisture; this does not affect functionality but may stain surfaces. Avoid using acidic cleaning agents. These trays are not intended as food serving vessels. The product does not include a solid drip tray; you may place the mesh tray inside a solid tray to collect runoff. Clean after each cycle to reduce residue build-up.
