The black colour reduces light exposure to the root zone. These trays are designed to fit standard 1020 shelves and heat mats. They are not supplied with a solid base or dome; you will need separate propagation accessories for bottom watering or humidity control. After use, remove all growing medium, wash with warm water and a mild detergent, then air-dry. Avoid using bleach or abrasive pads. These trays are reusable for multiple seasons. The 128-cell format works well for a wide range of vegetable and flower plugs.
